When the World is Dreaming

Hello everyone! Today is publishing day for "When the World is Dreaming" written by Rita Gray and illustrated by me. I really like how this odd, quiet picture book turned out. A stronger lean towards traditional media, I worked more with watercolor on this one. Please enjoy and thanks for the lovely support. Published through HMH, ed. "Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn" Pub Day!

Today is publishing day for "Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn"! The publisher is Macmillan/Henry Holt, and you can find our picture book at most book stores and on-line retailers. Based on memories of my mother's long walks into Maryland's forests and parks, "Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn" is about a young girl and her friends as they walk through the woods and a local town. On their day out, they see the deep greens of summer change to the ruddy, glowing warm colors of the coming fall. Our book has gotten some really nice reviews --- something that I did not anticipate.
